I don't wish to be rude, but I feel that it would be beneficial to both of us if this is stated categorically. Whatever goes on between two members off-site is their concern. We are not here for the drama that ensues. We are not here to take sides. We are not here to weigh up two very sketchy accounts of an event. We are not here to act as an arbiter. We are not here to make a judgement in lieu of (or dependant on the progress of) a Police investigation.

We are here with quite a clear purpose and the above does not fall into that remit.

we're sorry if you find the presence of another member on the board offensive. we'd recommend that you use the ignore feature to address that situation. you have control of - and need to take some responsibility for - your own bluelight experience.

posts which violate the blua or the guidelines of a specific forum will be dealt with in the usual way and the poster in question optionally warned or infracted for each incident.

Now imagine that after a year or more of conversing with this coffee shop staff member inside and outside the coffee shop, sometimes in an internet café too and built up some form of trust in him this man invited you to his house in another part of the country that you had no real knowledge of the locations of various places, but you went there to meet up with him because after all those years in the coffee shop building up a foundation of trust you and the owners of the coffee shop obviously trusted him enough to bring him on board as staff too, you decided to go ahead and meet up with said coffee shop staff member, and then he tortured you and almost killed you and said that I had to choose between coffee or death at his hand and he scared the living daylights out of you and then he made you act as his slave and then he took you to that internet café that was mentioned earlier and forced you to perform a sexual act on him which was documented by other members of the internet café who also visit the coffee shop regularly too. Imagine going through all of that and then escaping, admittedly after being robbed of 100euros and my £200 headphones and a sweater that he didn't like the look of, but kicked out at 3am in the morning on a Friday night. I had to struggle to find my way back to the train station to take me back to my own land and then my debit card was stolen at the station too so I had to manage to get back home just with the money I had drawn out of the ATM on the way to the train station and luckily had just enough cash, bar about £1 to make it back to my home safely

Imagine going back into this coffee shop as it had become almost a second home to you after visiting it for almost 9 year and being relieved that the member of staff had been fired and starting to feel safe in the coffee shop again, but then this ex staff member who was fired for good reason decided to come back to the coffee shop too and sometimes even sit at the next table and make comments about me in my area of the coffee shop, which were later deleted from the memory of the coffee shop regulars but not the staff that were still there. Imagine how hard and angry it made me to sometimes see this ex staff member who was sacked for allegations of sexual assault on a customer of the coffee shop, imagine how angry it made him when he kept seeing this ex staff member come and sit down in the coffee shop and make comments to the other visitors of the coffee shop as though nothing had happened.

I often wonder about the moral values of the owners and senior and even the regular staff member of this coffee shop for allowing this member back through the door at all and not banning him from entering completely after what happened with me, he could sit in that coffee shop for years more to come and eventually gain the trust of someone else that also visits the coffee shop and do exactly the same thing.

I'm just asking for a bit of human respect here really and some morality on your part, I know there is the innocent until proven guilty thing but the police have been informed and will make their enquiries. It just fills me with anger and makes me sometimes want to find an alternate coffee shop to the one that I loved so much for over 8 years, almost 9 when I see this other criminal visitor ex member of staff come in and act as though nothing has happened.

If you wont ban him permanently then please will you provide me with a sufficient explanation as to why you have chosen not to????? That is all I ask.

I've not been keeping up to date with bl as much over the last 2 or 3 days as I've been indulging in something nice and warm feelings making and is a totally different colour to what I expected considering one of it's street names. I've not heard of a drug called Grey out there!! lol.

Im not going to quote your massive NSFW rant here first, I've put a link to it at the top of this post though. I totally understand where you are coming from regarding MXE, I just don't think people are ready in general to be seeing other people like that. It is pretty much why I was asked to leave the last place I lived. I've since been told I did nothing really wrong but just being on MXE in the living room and not having full coordination or being able to speak or walk properly actually scared the other people enough to make them not want to live with me. The landlord was one massive hypocrite though as me and him had had a couple of meph sessions together and drinking sessions so he knew what the score was with me and he obviously had no problem with drug taking.

I also feel bad that I scared the other girl that was living with us, she was a nice girl and I am genuinely sorry about that one. It is a damn shame that people have divided drink and drugs into two separate things though, as you say and as I've seen many times before, far worse atrocities have occurred on drink than on MXE or meph or other drugs.

Society isn't quite ready yet, it's getting there, slowly, but it's not ready to accept that alcohol is a drug too.

I've been with my g/f 18 years. She recently got divorced. She thought she was divorced but wasn't (something to do with absolute and nisi), only came to light when former husband needed to re-marry recently. Thing is, and she genuinely didn't realize, former husband was also our landlord for first x years of our relationship, all of which was a horrendously high London rent paid on HB (haven't claimed since yah)

Evening people.

What a weird night.
Couldn't take being could shouldered by the woman any longer. Especially after her unprovoked attack on me.

So I turned up on her doorstep, she was in her house chillin' with her ex.
It's all such a headfuck.

The sudden split.
The lack of explanation.
The fact her ex can even be in a room with her/us after our 3 month affair.

And there we were, all sat together smoking spliffs conversing like civilised adults.

My head is flummoxed.

I would be completely flummoxed by that situation too, like that word, flummoxed. I can't ever imagine smoking a spliff whilst hanging out with my ex angelsmoke at her house if she had a new boyfriend who was a weed smoker, it would be pretty strange. At least is was nice and civil, well it sounds like it was anyway and I guess that sets a good tone for the future of a friendship with the ex that can work out well.

I agree I would be headfucked too by that though thinking about it after the fact, but maybe it's best just to do and not think about things like that sometimes as it often leads to a nice time although don't take it for granted as it could one day change and be totally different if you were to turn up at the doorstep spliff in hand.

Noticed the 2012 thread started in January, so I thought I'd get one up and running for this year..

Probably all Irish festivals for me this year, starting with

Vantastival - great vibe at this small event, I've been every year so far

will be at several more, including the great

Body & Soul - another small (5000 ish) festival with an electronic flavour - Django Django, M83 and Spiritualized were last year's highlights

Also rumours of an Irish sister festival to Latitude, called Longitude, and a couple of smaller, off the radar events..

What are you planning for the festival season?

I will definitely be back at sunflowerfest this year, was top last year, will hopefully travel to some smaller ones in England too.

Sunflower was ny first festival ever and I loved it, I think I would not like a massive hyped up uber festival as much to be honest.

Someone painted my face with a butterfly on it at sunflower and took a picture, it was one of SpecialK's friends I think, Tiana I think her name was, never managed to get hold of the picture for myself, would be great if someone could find it for me so I could add it to my collection of pictures!

Maybe I'll ask matty or specialK to try and get hold of it for me

Have recently switched to a leccy toothbrush (cos was actually cheaper than normal ones ) and have become quite the convert. They're shite for tonguebrush action though.

Some of those tongue scraper thingies are not too bad, have tried some that made me gag though and that wasn't pleasant at all.

On a similar topic, sometimes I forget to brush my teeth for a couple of days :o but they have always been really strong, I was born with deformed teeth and strong ones, the other half of the family had perfectly straight teeth needing tons of fillings, I think after my braces were off that made me have the better teeth in the family. :)

On the topic of flossing, I never do and never will, I get deathly scary video images in my head of accidently pushing too hard and severing my gum cutting it off like the floss is some sort of cheese wire, it makes me cringe just to look at floss, eurgh!!!

With mugzs updates on his blog I cant imagine the amounts of hair he was pulling out whilst on his 2 month stay away from bluelight, its only been 2 days and hes still hot topic, I thought he wanted to talk/chat/gossip whatever it is to end, so why are people still posting the blog. Anyway I feel for the lad its just he said it himself its probally best to stay away, nothing what anyones doing is helping in any way, apart from the support.

I changed my mind about wanting to take a break from the site after the initial anger and frustration and then tried was just posting away when alaisdair (check first few blog posts) banned me because the bl staff had thought I was fuelling the fire, even though the fire continued to burn hotter and more furiously after I was banned, which was eventually put out by the lovely Effie <3
